Dryer Vent Cleaning
Comments Off on Dryer Vent CleaningReminder: All owners were required to provide proof of Dryer Vent cleaning before February 1, 2023, per the policy below:
5.6.3 DRYER VENTS: Unit owners are liable for any damages sustained to other units and buildings as a result of a fire caused by improper maintenance of the dryer vent. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each unit owner to arrange for cleaning by a professional contractor or dryer vent cleaning company with the following exception. Several unit owners have short dryer vents. These units are 2-bedroom middle units in buildings 1,2,3,6,10,12,13,14,16,18,19 & 20. For these units, if a photograph showing the entire vent (daylight to the outside) shows that the vent is clear, this will fulfill the requirement of a cleaning. The photograph is to be provided to the Community Manager. Each unit owner is responsible for providing evidence of the cleaning. Evidence of the cleaning must be received by the Community Manager no later than February 1, 2023, and by February 1, every three years thereafter. Failure to comply will be deemed a violation and the unit owner will be subjected to the CONVENANT ENFORCEMENT POLICY & FINE GUIDELINES set forth.
You, as the owner, are responsible for payment and providing proof to the Association. Please note your Unit number on the receipt.
Please email receipts to Cindy@hbscommunity.com
